The nomination period for the BDG for January to April 2000 is
CLOSED. 12 books were nominated in total (see list at the end of
this email). I think it is again a very good list. I thank all nominators
for taking time for this. My special thanks go to the nominator who
nominated the second books I'd have liked to nominate, but I won't
say here which one :-)).

The nomination list with comments and links to reviews can be
looked up at
http://www.geocities.com/Area51/Comet/1304/bdg_nom_1099.htm

I hope there is no mistake. Today is my last day in the office as I
go on vacation for 3 weeks. So, if you have questions concerning
the nomination list please send them to Jennifer Krauel
<jennifer@krauel.com> or Janice Dawley <jdawley@together.net>.

Terri Wakefield <terriergraphics@CYBERTOURS.COM> will handle
the votes. She will explain (and start) the procedure with an email.
Please don't send your votes to the list (except you really want to
share them with all of us ;-) ).

Hi, Sharon:

Just a quick reminder that we can discuss books not part of the "official" BDG process too.
And I know there are other readers of the Vorkosigan series out there! Personally, I'd be
thrilled to discuss A CIVIL CAMPAIGN, with sufficient spoiler alerts to those who may not be
caught up yet.

Pax,

Maryelizabeth

Are Nominations ranked in order of which ones you want to read most or
according to which month you want to read it in? How is it decided which
book gets read when? Is it according to tally's of the rankings once all
the nominations are in? Amy
