If so, does anyone know of any coming up in the next year? I am also interested in finding a good anthology of Feminist SF & F and/or critical essays. That should be very convenient for you! The theme is Feminist Science Fiction and Fantasy. There's a website but I don't have the URL written down anywhere and it's not in my Bookmarks. Sorry, maybe someone else has it? As for anthologies, take a look at Flying Cups and Saucers. I'm sure several people have mentioned it already since this is something that was read on this list last year. See if you can't find _Women of Other Worlds; Excursions through Science Fiction and Feminism_, edited by helen Merrick and Tess Williams from Australia. I haven't read it but it looks interesting. I'm mainly into science fiction but there is also a fantasy version of this series. The science fiction volume is great. You may consider weird women, wired women (anthology by kit reed) and Sisters of the Apocalypse also by Reed. I haven't read them but plan to. I've heard good things about them. IN fact, I want to suggest this anthology for the book discussion group as soon as I check if it applies. I have it right in front of me, since I just pulled it after seeing an article in today's Washington Post about Reform Rabbis accepting same-sex marriages. There was a paragraph about how the Southern Baptist Convention recently made homosexuality the single reason for being expelled. It really struck me that it went with the first story in the collection, Keith Hartman's _Sex, Guns, and Baptists_!! Other than WisCon, I'm at a loss, so I second Joanie's request and I've put it out to both the femsf and femsf-lit lists. The second part of Joanie's request was for critical essays, and I would like to ask what essays (not necessarily in anthologies) CAN'T be missed in the field. I am pushing Chico State (a tiny California College) to offer a Feminist SF & F literature class. I have a couple of Feminist Literature instructors that are willing to teach the course, but I'd like to help them in developing the course itself. And if we can show the "higher-ups" that other institutions offer the course, then it might help to convince them that we need to add this course to our curriculum.
