if talk about this video is cool on this list -- I found Long Kiss Goodbye
to be an upbeat action movie about an ex-assassin (Geena Davis). also
feminist. also fantasy. unfortunately the government wasn't quite as evil as
I find it to be in real life... well nothings perfect.
with reference to the list's contact discussion -- which someone said was
way more involved than the movie itself -- I really dig it when we get ahold
of a movie or book where we can say, this glass is definitely HALF FULL, and
celebrate that, in a world of corporate, disempowering, alienating,
dishonest, depressing! culture.
