I'm replying to a part of this last message that referred to male
dominance and size. For a really well-done recent treatment of this
subject, read Sex on the Brain by Deborah Blum who does a really excellent
job of interpreting the lastest in gender biology. It turns out nothing
is simple, but it makes highly entertaining and thought provoking reading.
quote from above mentioned book
"I think underneath all the conflict over gender differences is a tacit
acceptance of male as normal." Kim Waller (male scientist at Emory U.)
