Hi

I'm new to the list, and I have been enjoying the messages and
recommendations so far.

I really liked Elgin's first two Native Tongue books, mostly because of the
development of the ideas about language. The whole idea of Laadan was
interesting and appealing on lots of levels.
I was really disappointed in the third book, because she pretty much seemed
to abandon all the things I liked about the earlier books.

Did anyone really like Earthsong?
