impressive restraint.
i've been reading a lot of james tiptree stories and novellas
recently--she seems to have a darker view of human nature in general and
male nature in particular than many feminist sf writers. she seems to see
male violence and aggression as at least as much a product of biology as
of culture. i'm fascinated by her, and i wondered if anyone else had any
thoughts on her.
