In answer to the query about Barr's whereabouts. . . I saw her in LOndon
and Reading a couple of months back, on her way through from visiting
professorship in Innsbruck to visitiing professorship in Cape Town (where
she now is). I do not think she has her Virginia Tech job any more. . .
