I just wanted to point out (here my women and film class is actually
useful...)
        That while women directing action films might be unusual, it is not
unusual for Kathryn Bigelow. She also directed _Point Break_, _Blue
Steel_ (with Jamie Lee Curtis, I've seen this one), as well as a few
more films.
